Love Shuffle Episode 07 )

I'm not even going to TRY and understand what's up with the older lady and her husband. Or what Mei is thinking at any given moment. (Stick with A-kun, Mai!)

You're Beautiful is eating my mind. IT IS SO GOOD.

I've loved Jang Geun Seok (hello future husband!) since Hong Gil Dong, and I AM SO EXCITED that he's finally in a drama not acting like a complete wooden prick. (Not to say that Tae-Kyung isn't a prick, but he's an ADORABLE, LOVABLE PRICK SO WHATEVER)

But seriously, SO GOOD. I know parts of it are over the top, but I don't even care because it's done SO WELL. Jang Geun Seok is so AWESOME in this. Emo Popstar >>>>>> Emo Prince.

And oh, episode 6, why do you do this to me?!

Stop phunk-ing with my heart, drama! )In American TV news- Glee continues to be awesome. Gossip Girl is unwatchable except for the Chuck/Blair parts, and Ugly Betty finally came back!

Apparently Buzzer Beat episode seven is epic. Especially the last two-ish minutes?

All I know, is that there is a pic of Mai with her lips puckered, and what looks like Shuji standing in front of her SO YOU KNOW THERE WILL DEFINITELY BE EPIC PIC SPAM. as soon as I get around to watching it.

Creepy murderous secondary-girl from A Million Stars Falling From the Sky is the main girl from Good Luck?! Did not recognize her.

It's kind of eating my brain, A Million Stars etc etc . . . I just don't KNOW what's going to happen, which is very refreshing, but also kind of frustrating because I want to know if Kimura Takua is a bad guy or not.

His character is so creepy, what with the keeping his eyes open during any sort of physical contact.

So I only freaked out this episode ABOUT A BILLION TIMES. seriously, this episode = SO GOOD.

I've read somewhere (a Yamapi interview?) that Buzzer Beat was supposed to be reminiscient of Long Vacation in it's tone and story, but episode six is the first episode where I've really felt the similarities. But it's definitely a good thing.

SO ANYWAYS, even though I didn't understand about half of what was sadi in this episode, it was still SO GOOD, you guys. SO GOOD.

-EPISODE FIVE IN BRIEF-

- Naoki catches Natsuki/Yoyogi making out in the locker room. Later, he and Natsuki break up, and Naoki asks Yoyogi to take care of Natsuki.
- Riko finds it increasinly difficult to deal with her feelings for Naoki.
- Shuuji/Mai are adorable and need to get married now and be adorable all the time AND THEY TOTALLY NEED THEIR OWN SHOW.
- The Basketball team (and the cheerleaders) go to training camp in the country.
- After hearing Naoki crying on the phone, Riko rushed out to the training camp to see Naoki. Naoki hugs her, then Riko hugs him back. (LOVE MAKES YOU STRONG.)

-EPISODE SIX-

my OTP is better than your OTP )

But as always, MAI AND SHUUJI ARE THE BEST OTP EVER. They eat inferior OTPs FOR BREAKFAST.

Mai + Shuuji = LOVE FOREVER.

So, usual stuff- taking caps is fine, just comment and let me know :D. Also, I've sucked at replying to comments lately, sorry! Will be better in the future.

-EPISODE FOUR IN BRIEF-

- Mai became suspicious of Riko's friendship with Naoki, and made her swear that she didn't have feelings for Naoki.
- Riko, however, was finding it inreasingly difficult to deny her growing attraction to Naoki.
- Naoki/the Ho reconcile after their fight (she told him to grow up and start acting like an adult, he stormed out), but soon after Naoki saw Yoyogi's (The Other Guy's) armband in Natsuki's apartment, and grew suspicious.
- Riko and The Coach fight, then they reconcile.
- oh and Naoki sees Natsuki and Yoyogi kissing in the locker room. MINOR PLOT POINT.

Wisdom teeth, you are officially the bane of my existance.

Apparently, before the surgery when I was about to go under, I started singing, "I've got you~, under my skin." At least it was the english part?

Previously on "As the Basketball Turns":

- Naoki/Natsuki (for actual summary purposes I'll now be using The Ho's actual name. "The Ho" will be reserved strictly for commentary") have some disagreements about a) marriage and b) Naoki's lack of lovin'.

- Naoki and Co. (and Riko and Mai) go to the beach. Where Riko discovers that Naoki is the man whose phone she'd phone she'd found on the bus (Of Destiny!!) and given to the coach.

- Shuuji <3 Mai. (And I <3 A-kun!)

- Natsuki called The Other Guy over for a booty call at the end of the episode after having that last fight with Naoki. Also, The Other Guy appears to be developing actual feelings for Natsuki.

- Naoki's basketball skills be improvin'. All you need to know is: LOVE MAKES YOU STRONG.

Episode Four )Thanks for reading!

If I hypothetically would like to start listening to DBSK/getting into the fandom, where should I start? Like what are their hit songs, popular music videos, performances, etc.?

So I saw Up tonight with the parents. We're sitting in the movie theater, watching all those cheesy commercials that play before the previews, and a commercial for the Wondergirls comes on. It was a strange feeling. Especially when the mother says, "Oh, so that's who they are." (Apparently my mother knows the Wondergirls?)

So the mother's phone rings, and I asked who it was. Her response: "Nobody, nobody but you!"

Up was adorable, though. And the music was epic. I want the soundtrack.

And now I'm trying to decide if I want to watch the second-to-last episode of Brilliant Legacy, or rewatch Koi no Chikara. I think Brilliant Legacy could have been onl 20-ish or so episodes and been just fine. There were a few too many scenes where Eun Sung almost found Eun Woo or almost saw her father. There are only so many times that Eun Sung and Eun Woo passing WITHIN MERE FEET OF EACHOTHER can be tragic before it gets frustrating.

A fairly well-known college/NBA basketball blog has posted a review of Buzzer Beat. Yamapi's buzzer beat. Fandoms colliiiiiiiiiding.

So random. But good for Yamapi? Now he's on the road to Hollywood? Maybe? I can hope.

So to recap the last episode:

Lying Cheating Ho lived up to her name by cheating on Naoki with the new-guy-on-the-team (who is not even attractive AT ALL).

Naoki asked The Ho, "If I win the next game will you marry me?" and she said yes, but they lost the next game. Naoki has The Purple Backpack of Awesomeness.

Riko was adorable and Riko + Naoki is adorable adorableness. Also, Riko's roommate is made of awesome. And Naoki's hot coach has a crush on Riko.

Nagase! Guns! Spying! It's going to be like My Boss, My Hero except better. Maybe. If Tegoshi was in it, it definitely would be.

Need more Man Who Can't Get Married nowwwwwwwwwww!

Maybe I should watch Buzzer Beat again. Or finish Mr. Brain? Is there any substantial romance after episode 4? Or it is just all mystery-solving?
